No. 14/15 Wartburg Travels to Face Coe in Regular Season Finale

WAVERLY, Iowa- The No. 14/15 Wartburg football team (9-0 overall, 7-0 A-R-C) travels to face Coe (7-2, 6-1) Saturday at 1 p.m. The Knights stand atop the conference standings, while the Kohawks are tied for second.

The Series
Wartburg holds the all-time series lead at 26-13, which includes the last four-straight.

The Knights broke an 80-year old school record two weeks ago with their fifth shutout of the season. The previous mark was four set in 1942.
 
Senior Hunter Clasen leads the team with 954 yards on the ground and 15 touchdowns. Senior Nile McLaughlin (Eldridge) has thrown for 1,968 yards and 19 touchdowns.
 
Drake George leads the receivers with 445 yards, and Thomas Butters (Kalona) leads the group with four TD catches.
 
Ben Bryant, who set the season record for punt return yards last year, leads the team with 16 punt returns for 293 yards. He also has 338 rushing yards for five touchdowns, and 141 receiving yards for two touchdowns.
 
Senior Owen Grover leads the defense with 60 tackles, and junior Nate Link (Eldridge) follows with 51 tackles.
 
Senior Jordan Downing leads the team with 12.5 TFLs, and 8.0 sacks.

Ben Bryant is third in average yards/punt return (15.3), fourth in punt return yards (642) and tied for fifth in punt return TDs (1).

Clasen is 10th in rushing TDs (25) and O'Neill is tied for ninth in field goals (10).

Antonio Santillan is tied for fifth in interception return TDs (1), tied for sixth in assisted tackles (131), and eighth in total tackles (260). Downing is tied for eighth in sacks (16) and ninth in yards from TFLs (140).

Ray Seidel has rushed for 553 yards.  Carter Maske has thrown for 1,521 yards for 16 TDs. Dominic Shepardson has 751 receiving yards for seven scores. Jay Oostendorp leads the defense with 47 total tackles.
