WAVERLY, Iowa - Wartburg women's basketball opened up American Rivers Conference play on Tuesday, Nov. 22 with a 78-72 win over the University of Dubuque in overtime.

- The Spartans jumped out to a 12-4 lead early
- Maggie Wilkins scored the next seven straight points for the Knights to bring the Knights down one point

- Jaedon Murphy stopped the run with a bucket and then Wilkins scored five quick points to cut UD's lead to 64-61 with 4:30 to play
- The Knights went on a 6-0 run in the final two minutes to force overtime

- After a UD layup, Murphy hit a three to give the Knights a 71-70 lead
- Wartburg made 7/8 free throws in overtime and won 78-72
