DECORAH, Iowa – Wartburg women's basketball moved to 4-2 overall and 2-0 in American Rivers Conference play after a 73-52 win on the road over Luther College.
 
Scoring Summary

• First Half
  • The Orange & Black jumped out to a 17-2 lead in the first quarter behind 10 points from Macy Harris
  • The Knights recorded six steals during the 17-2 run
  • Luther hit a three at the end of the fist quarter to cut the lead to 22-11 Wartburg
  • After the Norse cut the lead to nine early in the second Wartburg stretched its lead back to 15 halfway through the second quarter
  • Wartburg went on a 10-0 run following taking a 15-point lead to make the score 41-16 with just under two minutes left in the half
  • Luther cut the lead by two before halftime and it was 41-18 at the break
• Second Half
  • After a Luther three ball early in the third quarter, Britney Young responded with a three of her own and then a steal that led to another Young three
  • The Knights shot six free throws in the first five minutes of the quarter and held on to a 20-point lead
  • A Norse three pointer got the lead down to 18 but the Knights responded with a run to bring the lead to 59-36
  • A Jaedon Murphy three pointer at the end of the third quarter made the score 64-41
  • The Knights lead got up to 27 points at its highest in the fourth quarter
  • Luther closed on a 6-0 run to make the final score 73-53 Wartburg
