WAVERLY, Iowa – Wartburg men's basketball fell to Simpson College 79-67 in an American Rivers Conference battle on Saturday, Dec. 10. The Knights are now 3-6 overall and move to 1-2 in A-R-C play.

- Neither team found a rhythm offensively to start the game and it was 1-0 Simpson after three minutes of play
- Simpson connected on back-to-back three pointers that put them up 7-0
- Both teams traded baskets until a Jack Molstead three put the Knights within six

- Wartburg got the lead down to four, but the late push wasn't enough to overcome the Storm lead
