MILWAUKEE, Wis. – Wartburg men's tennis started the day in Jackson, Wis. where they won 5-4 against Wisconsin Lutheran College. The Knights then traveled to Milwaukee for a matchup with the Milwaukee School of Engineering where they fell 1-8.
 
Jeff Miller picked up a singles win in the fourth position and a doubles win with partner Shimon Yonekura to help lead Knights past the Warriors. Jack Veber and Kaleb Flenker also picked up singles wins in their respective positions.
 
The team of Joseph Haag and Sam Yoon won the number two doubles match with a tiebreaker win over the team of Asa White and Matt Bass from Wisconsin Lutheran.
 
Veber scored the Orange & Black's lone point in the 1-8 loss to the Milwaukee School of Engineering to push his singles record to 2-0 on the day.

The Knights will be back in action on Saturday, Feb. 12 against St. Ambrose and Illinois Wesleyan in Clinton, Iowa. First serve begins at 9:30 a.m. against St. Ambrose and then Illinois Wesleyan will follow at 12:30 p.m.
