RIPON, Wis. – Wartburg men's tennis continued its season Sunday, Feb. 6 with wins over Ripon College and Lawrence University.
Joseph Haag secured his first singles win of the season in the number one position with a win over Ripon's Calvin Battle. Haag and
Julian Nemmers led the Knights in doubles play with two doubles wins each on the day.
Jack Veber,
Kaleb Flenker, and Nemmers all went 2-0 in singles play on Sunday in their respective positions.
Shimon Yonekura only competed against Lawrence but finished 1-0 in the number six singles spot for the Knights.
As a team, Wartburg went 8-4 in singles competition and 3-3 in doubles play throughout the day.
