LAKEVILLE, Minn. – Wartburg men's tennis is now 15-7 overall after wins against the University of Northwestern (Minn.) and Ripon College on Saturday, Mar. 19.
The Knights defeated UNW 6-3 after winning four of six possible singles matches and two of the three doubles matches. The teams of
Lucas Huffman/
Jackson Eells and
Nile Petersen/
Jeff Miller both went 2-0 in doubles play today to help lead the Orange & Black.
Wartburg had three athletes finish 2-0 on the day in singles play in Eells, Petersen, and
Kyle Sehlin. Huffman finished 1-1 at the number one singles positon and Miller was 1-0 in his only singles action today.
The Knights' dominant 9-0 sweep over Ripon is their third shutout of the season.
