Last Time Out
The Knights traveled to Winona, Minn. on Wednesday, Apr. 13 where they were swept 9-0 by the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse. The Orange & Black fell to 12-13 overall and remained 4-4 in American Rivers Conference play.
Season Leaders
Meadow LaDuke has played 16 games at number one singles and has a record of 9-7 for the Knights. The freshman is 12-10 overall on the year with play in the number two and three position as well. 4
Natalie Kaiser has the most singles wins so far this season with an overall record of 15-8. She leads the team with 10 wins in the number two position.
As a duo, Kaiser and LaDuke are 11-7 overall in doubles and nine of those wins came at the number one position. The team of
Bailey Sinnwell and
Gracie O'Donnell are 4-2 overall and 2-0 in the number two spot.
Edgewood
The Eagles enter Sunday's contest with a 10-5 overall record and an impressive 9-0 mark in conference play.
Edgewood was victorious in it's last time out as they defeated Carthage College 5-4 on Sunday, Apr. 10. The Eagles will be in action before facing Wartburg as they are scheduled to face Loras College in a dual on Friday, Apr. 22.
Cecile Fuchs is 15-2 overall for the Eagles in singles play and has a mark of 13-1 in number one singles play.
Series History
This will be the fourth meeting ever between these programs with the first coming during the 2008-09 season. Edgewood has won all three previous matchups to own a 3-0 all-time series record over the Knights.
