WAVERLY, Iowa – Women's tennis is set to begin the 2022 American Rivers Automatic Qualifier tournament on Tuesday, Apr. 26 against Coe College.

Wartburg women's tennis fell 2-7 in the final home contest of the 2021-22 regular season on Sunday, Apr. 24.
Natalie Kaiser was a part of both of Wartburg's only match wins with her singles win in the two spot and a number one doubles win with partner
Meadow LaDuke.
Season Leaders
LaDuke has played 17 games at number one singles and has a record of 9-8 for the Knights. The freshman finished the season 12-11 overall on the year with play in the number two and three position as well.
Kaiser finished the regular season with the most singles wins with an overall record of 15-8. She leads the team with 11 wins in the number two position.
As a duo, Kaiser and LaDuke are 12-7 overall in doubles and 10 of those wins came at the number one position. The team of
Georgia Nissen and
Chihiro Ono finished 7-7 overall and 7-6 in the number two spot.
A-R-C AQ Tournament
Luther and Central are the top two seeds from the regular season and earned a bye for the quarterfinal round. As the three seed, Coe hosts Wartburg and then Loras and Simpson have the other quarterfinal matchup. The semifinal/championship round will be hosted by Luther College.
Coe
The Kohawks enter the post season with an 11-8 record overall and a 6-2 mark in the conference. Coe defeated Wartburg 7-2 earlier this season on Tuesday, Sep. 21. The Kohawks have lost four of their last five matchups this spring.
Madison Schultz has 10 singles wins in the number one position and closed the regular season 13-4 overall. The teams of Emma Lassen/Isabella Hoppenjans and Claudia Bikey/Eliza Sundermann lead the Kohawks with six doubles wins each.
