WAVERLY, Iowa – The Knights' 11 meet winning streak was snapped at home today with a 9-0 loss to Luther College on Tuesday, Apr. 26. Wartburg is now 21-8 overall and falls to 3-2 in American Rivers Conference play. 
 
The Orange & Black fell in all three doubles matches to start the dual. The team of Lucas Huffman and Jackson Eells are now 14-6 in number one doubles play this season. The loss marked Griffin Steiniger and Cade Davis' first defeat in number two doubles this season. 
 
AJ Wilkins was the only Knight to win a set today as he won set one of his number five singles match. He dropped the final two to fall to 10-3 overall and 4-1 at the number five position. Huffman fell to Max Loen 6-3 in both sets one and two to move to 17-4 overall in number one singles.
 
Next Time Out
The Knights are back in action on Thursday, Apr. 28 when they travel to Dubuque, Iowa to continue A-R-C play with a dual against Loras.
