WAVERLY, Iowa – Wartburg men's tennis closed the regular season on Sunday, May 1, going 2-0 in American Rivers Conference play at home. The Knights move to 24-8 overall and 6-2 in A-R-C play.
The Knights were dominant today as they defeated Nebraska Wesleyan University 9-0 to start the day and then beat Loras 7-2 to close the regular season. The doubles teams of

Jeff Miller all went 2-0 today to close a perfect 6-0 day in doubles play.
With his two number one doubles wins today, Huffman has passed Tom Koenen for the most in all-time Wartburg history with 53 wins and counting. The senior leader also tied the individual season record for singles wins at 20 this season after going 2-0 in number one singles today.
Eells, Wilkins and Steiniger all finished 2-0 in their respective singles positions to help secure the conference wins today.

The Knights secured the three seed in this year's A-R-C AQ Tournament, so they will host Nebraska Wesleyan on Tuesday, May 3 in the quarterfinals.
