NORMAL, Ill. – No. 4 Wartburg men's cross country won the Redbird Invite hosted by Illinois State University on Friday, Sept. 16. The Knights took home top team honors in a talented field of competition, including beating instate talent from the University of Northern Iowa and the University of Iowa.
Christopher Collet was edged out of first by 0.2 seconds and took second overall with a time of 24:04.4. The time moves Collet up to second all-time trailing only
Joe Freiburger's 23:58.7 mark at last season's NCAA Championships.
