No. 7 Knights Defeat UW-Stevens Point 4-2 on the Road

STEVENS POINT, Wis. – No. 7 Wartburg women's soccer (6-0) continued its winning streak with a 4-2 win over the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point (1-4-2) on Saturday, Sept. 17.
 
Scoring Summary
  • Sarah Campbell struck first in the 19th minute after a Greta Rothe assist to make it 1-0
  • Gabby Dunn scored the equalizer for the Pointers in the 27th minute unassisted
  • Katie Berglund found Joy Smith for a goal in the 39th minute to give the Knights a 2-1 lead
  • Wartburg took a 2-1 lead into the break
  • Berglund added to her assist and got the Knights back on the board with a goal in the 50th minute to make it 3-1
  • Kate Luers made the score 4-1 after fining the net in the 70th minute
