DUBUQUE, Iowa – Wartburg men's basketball came back from down 14 points to win its third straight American Rivers Conference game with a 71-63 win over the University of Dubuque on Wednesday, Jan. 25. The Knights are now 5-4 in A-R-C play and 8-10 overall.

- First Half
- After UD scored the opening basket, Wartburg scored six straight behind four points from Codey Hicks and two points from Marshun Williams
- The Spartans scored five straight to take a 7-6 lead with 15:07 to go in the first half
- The Knights took a 9-7 lead after a free throw from Hicks and a layup from Molstead, but Dubuque responded with a 10-0 run to go up 17-9
- Drew Olson stopped the run with a jumper but Dubuque continued to hold a lead

- UD went back up by 10, but the Knights answered with a three pointer from Keagan John and an Olson three-point play that made the score 45-41 with 15:58 to go
- Bienemann made his second three of the game to bring the Knights within three points, but Dubuque continued to hold on to the lead
- Trailing by three, Molstead scored nine straight points to give the Knights a 57-55 lead with 9:23 to play
- Wartburg held on to a one possession lead over the next six minutes
- After a Williams layup to keep the Knights up three, UD tied the game at 63-63 with 2:23 to play
- Olson broke the tie with a floater to put the Knights up two and then out of a timeout he made a three pointer to make the score 68-63 with 54 seconds left
- The Knights closed out the 71-63 win with a John layup and a free throw from Molstead
