Owen Grover set the career record in total tackles in No. 3/3 Wartburg's (7-0 overall, 5-0 American Rivers) 31-10 Homecoming win over Dubuque. Grover had 10 tackles on the day to have 318 to date for his career. This surpassed the 313 by Blake Suckow set from 2007-10.
Dubuque scored on a 41-yard field goal to take the early lead with 4:28 to play in the first quarter. The Spartans took the 10-0 lead on a six-yard pass with 6:38 to play in the second. Wartburg got on the scoreboard with a nine-yard TD reception from Butters with 1:17 to play in the half. The Knights would score on their second drive of the third quarter for the go-ahead score on a 21-yard TD reception by
Bricen White.
