WAVERLY, Iowa-- The No. 3/3 Wartburg football team (9-0 overall, 7-0 American Rivers Conference) won the A-R-C Championship with the 24-14 win over Central (6-2, 4-2) Saturday
This was the 19th conference championship in program history, and second-straight. With the title, the Orange and Black will receive the automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament.

- Hunter Clasen surpassed the 1,000 yard rushing mark for the second-straight season.
- Jordan Downing set the career record for sacks with 28.5 to date. He broke Vince Kings' record of 27.5 set from 2000-03.
