LINCOLN, Neb. – Women's soccer won an exciting 3-2 match over Nebraska Wesleyan University after
Lauren Kirkle scored a goal in the 88th minute to not only give the Knights the win, but also cap off a hat trick performance. Wartburg is now 4-6-1 overall and 2-1 in American Rivers Conference play.

- Kirkle recorded the first shot of the match in the 17th minute when she fired a shot on goal that was saved
- Just one minute later, NWU answered with a goal from Averie Hike that just out of reach of Alena Miller

- The Knights drew a foul that led to a free kick in the 88th minute and Kirkle buried the free kick attempt past the keeper to give Wartburg a 3-2 lead and complete a hat trick performance
