MILWAUKEE, Wis. – No. 8/16 women's basketball continued play at the Paul F. Knueppel Classic hosted by Wisconsin Lutheran College with a 89-61 win over North Central College on Saturday, Nov. 12. The Knights move to 2-0 on the season and will continue non-conference play next week.

- Just when North Central cut the lead below 10, Jaedon Murphy buried a three pointer to put Wartburg back up 12
- Faber and Britney Young hit threes on back-to-back possessions and the Knights led 37-18 midway through the second quarter
- Golinghorst scored five points in the final minutes of the half and Wartburg led 49-24 at the break

- North Central came out firing in the second half, going on a 7-0 run to cut the lead to 18
- A couple minutes later Faber put the Knights back up by 21 after a three pointer

- Harris found Murphy for a three pointer with under a minute to play in the quarter to put Wartburg ahead 67-42 after three quarters

- Harris assisted a Murphy basket and then scored the next five points for the Knights
- Minutes later, Young recorded a steal that led to a Woeste jumper and then Young made a three of her own the next possession to push the lead to 79-53
- Wartburg cruised to a 89-61 win
