WAVERLY, Iowa – Wartburg women's basketball held off a late Luther College push for a 66-59 win at home on Wednesday, Feb. 1. The Knights are now winners of 10 straight and move to 16-4 overall with an American Rivers Conference mark of 11-0.
 
Game Summary
	- First Quarter
	
		- The Knights jumped out to a 7-2 lead in the first minute and a half of play behind five points from Macy Harris
- After a timeout Luther got back on the board and cut the lead to 12-4, but a Harris layup put the Knights up 16-4
- Luther finished the quarter on a 7-1 run and Wartburg led 17-11 after the first
 
- Second Quarter
	
		- Harris scored the first two buckets of the second quarter to put Wartburg up 21-11
- The lead stretched to 15 after a made three from Britney Young and a Lauren Woeste layup
- Baskets from Harris and Young kept the Knights up 10+ going into the half, but Luther closed the lead to 32-21 at the break

		- Jaedon Murphy scored the first five points of the third to put the Knights ahead 37-21 just over a minute into the quarter

- Harris and Young both scored to put the Knights back up by 10, but Luther continued to convert shots and would finish the third only trailing 46-40

		- Luther again got the lead down to five after a made three pointer made the score 48-43
- Wartburg responded with three pointers from Murphy and Young to go back up 54-43 with 6:54 remaining
- After back-to-back three balls from Luther, Wartburg again had an answer with four straight points from Maggie Wilkins
- A three-point play followed by a made three from Luther brought the Norse within three with 2:01 to play
- Harris responded with an and one basket of her own and a free throw from Sara Faber put the Knights up 61-55 with 33 seconds left
- Wartburg held off the Norse for a 66-59 victory at home
