WAVERLY, Iowa – Wartburg men's basketball fell to Nebraska Welseyan University 76-68 on Saturday, Feb. 4. The Knights are now 10-11 overall and move to 7-5 in American Rivers Conference matchups.

- Wartburg opened the game with a three pointer from Drew Olson and then scores from Codey Hicks and Marshun Williams to take a 7-3 lead early
- NWU tied the game at seven before Jack Molstead hit a three to put the Knights back on top
- NWU took its first lead with 13:28 left in the first half after a layup put them ahead 14-13

- Peter Lash scored 10 points in just over two minutes of game time to help NWU go up 61-51 with 7:53 left in the game
- Willams and Keagan John both scored to cut the lead to seven with 3:07 left, but NWU continued to get to the free throw line to close the game
