WAVERLY, Iowa-- The No. 14 Wartburg softball team (7-5 overall) will travel to compete at WashU's weekend tournament. The Knights will face host-No. 23 WashU (1-3) and DePauw (3-4).

The Series
WashU holds the all-time series lead at 11-8 and DePauw leads 4-1.

Wartburg
The Knights return to the field after their Spring Break trip. Reegan Deputy leads the team at the plate with her .486 batting average. Sydney Illg and Sydney Fellows join her above .350 at .375, and .350, respectively. Illg has a team-best 12 stolen bases.

Avery Mull leads the starting pitchers with her 1.00 ERA in 14.0 innings pitched. Ashley Nelson has a team-best 24 Ks.

WashU
The Bears opened their season last weekend at home.  Tami Wong leads the team with her .455 average, while Maggie Baumstark follows at .385 and Katie Gould at .364.

Jamie Burgasser leads the pitchers with her 3.77 ERA in 13.0 innings of work.

DePauw
Lily Jennings leads the Tigers with her .667 average, and Macey Cox follows at .500. Megan Asher leads the pitcher with her 0.00 ERA in 12.1 innings pitched and 19 strikeouts.
