BLOOMINGTON, Ill.-- Reegan Deputy hit a two-run single to right field in the bottom of the seventh with two outs. She advanced to second on a wild pitch, and Sydney Illg drew a walk. The next batter flew out to center to end the rally as Illinois Wesleyan won 7-2.

The game was scoreless until a solo homer by the Titans in the bottom of the fourth. They added two in the fifth and four in the sixth to take the 7-0 lead.

In their last at-bats, Tarah Wehde hit a single down the left field line, and the next batter, Hannah Happ hit a single through the left side. Both runners advanced on a groundout, and then scored on Deputy's single.
