ANGOLA, Ind.—The Wartburg softball team (24-17) fell 8-0 in five innings to No. 5 Trine University (37-4) Friday.
 
How it happened

• The Thunder took the early 3-0 lead in the first, which included a two-run double
• In the top of the second, Ella Link broke up the no-hitter with her single to left field
• Trine added one in the third and three in the fourth to extend the margin to 7-0
• The Thunder plated their final run in the fifth on a single through the left side
