ST. JOSEPH, Minn. – Women's soccer (2-4-1) fell to the College of Saint Benedict (3-3) 3-0 on the road after the Bennies rallied for three goals in the second half on Sunday, Sept. 17.
 
Game Summary

• First Half
  • The Bennies got two shots on goal in the first half but both were saved by Alena Miller
  • After defending CSB corner kicks, the Knights recorded its first shot on goal when Meredith Connor put a shot low and away that was saved by the keeper
  • Miller made a save on the other end just one minute later and the score remained 0-0 after 23 minutes and then another saved in the 31^st minute
    • Lauren Kirkle fired a shot in the 32nd minute that was just missed high
  • Neither team recorded another shot in the half and the score remained 0-0
• Second Half
  • Neither team could control possession early, but the Bennies got an early corner kick opportunity that was defended well by the Knights
  • In the 61^st minute, Ali Voss found Grace Fitzgibbons for a goal that put CSB up 1-0
  • The Knights got a corner kick minutes later, but it was defended quickly for a Bennies goal kick
  • Voss added an insurance goal for the Bennies in the 82^nd minute to make it 2-0
  • CSB closed the match with another goal in the 86^th minute to make the final score 3-0
