No. 23 Women's Soccer Fall in Final Minute to St. Olaf

WAVERLY, Iowa – No. 23 women's soccer fell in the final minute in today's non-conference matchup against St. Olaf 1-0 on Wednesday, Sept. 6. St. Olaf converted a penalty kick with 18 seconds remaining to secure the win and the Knights are now move to 1-2 overall.
 
Game Summary
  • First Half
    • St. Olaf had three shots in the first 10 minutes, with one being on goal
    • Lenhart made two more saves by the 24th minute of play and the score remained 0-0
    • Greta Rothe and Meredith Connor both put shots on goal for the Knights in the 41st and 42nd minute
      • Both saved by Maddie Black
    • The score remained 0-0 at the break
  • Second Half
    • Connor came out firing in the second half, putting two shots on goal that were both saved
