WAVERLY, Iowa – No. 10/11 women's basketball held off a late push by Loras to win 59-57 Wednesday night in overtime. The win moves the Knights to 19-2 overall and 12-0 in American Rivers Conference play.

- Jaedon Murphy scored the first points for the Knights with a three pointer to give Wartburg an early 3-2 lead

- Harris made a layup and Murhpy added a free throw to put Wartburg ahead 46-30 at the end of the third
- Fourth Quarter
- A Woeste layup stopped an 8-0 run by Loras to start the final quarter to cut the lead to 10 with 6:54 to play
- Faber stopped a Loras 6-0 run with two free throws to put the Knights back up six with 2:43 remaining
- Loras ended the half on a 6-0 run to tie the game at 50 at the end of regulation
- Overtime
- Faber got the steal and fastbreak layup to give the Knights a one-point lead halfway through the overtime period
- Murphy made her third three of the game followed by a Runchey layup two possessions later to push the lead to six with :38 remaining
- Harris and Runchey both added a free throw down the stretch to give the Knights the win 59-57
