WAVERLY, Iowa – Men's soccer outdueled Luther College 3-2 in a back-and-forth American Rivers Conference (A-R-C) matchup on Saturday, Oct. 12. The win moves Wartburg to 6-3-3 overall and 3-1 in A-R-C play, while Luther is now 5-4-4 overall and 3-1 in A-R-C play.

- Luther has the first shot opportunities of the match as Javier Pastor missed the target in the fourth minute before firing a shot on goal in the 12th minute that was saved by Henry Eckert
- In the 13th minute, Aidan Mott beat the defense and put a shot on goal that was deflected by the keeper over to Lwings Kabula, who made an acrobatic finish to put the Knights on the board 1-0

- Pastor put the penalty kick in the top right corner to tie the match at 2-2
- After a Flori Gembo shot was deflected, Gembo took a corner for the Knights in the 83rd minute that was finished with a clutch header from Carson Kay to put Warburg back on top 3-2
- The Knights held off the Norse in the final minutes to earn a 3-2 conference win at home
