ROCK ISLAND, Ill. – No. 2 men's cross country took home a team victory at a nationally competitive Augustana Interregional Invitational that featured eight ranked teams in the field on Saturday, Oct. 19. There were three top five teams in the United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) national poll in the field.
The Knights finished with a team score of 41 points, which led the second place team by over 100 points.
Isaiah Hammerand led the way for Wartburg with a second place individual finish and a new PR of 23:59.8. Hammerand was joined by
Tyler Schermerhorn and
Jacob Green as top ten finishers individually.
