No. 2 Men's Cross Country Ready to Defend A-R-C Title on Saturday

WAVERLY, Iowa – No. 2 men's cross country is set to defend the title in the American Rivers Conference (A-R-C) Championships in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.

The Knights have captured the team title the last six seasons
In total, Wartburg holds 20 team championships
- Luther leads all teams with 32
Wartburg has had the A-R-C MVP in the past five seasons

- The Knights won the nationally competitive Augustana Interregional Invite in its last competition
Hammerand currently has the third-best time in Wartburg history and set the course record at Wartburg earlier this season
- Won the Dan Huston individual title and finished top five at the Augustana Interregional Invite and John McNichols Invite
Schermerhorn won the individual title at the John Kurtt Invite in the first home meet of the season
