Volleyball travels to Coe for A-R-C Semifinal match

WAVERLY, Iowa- The Wartburg volleyball team (17-11 overall) will travel to Coe (23-7 overall) Thursday at 7 p.m. in the American Rivers Conference (A-R-C) Tournament semifinals.

The Series
Wartburg leads the all-time series 42-11. The Knights won the regular-season meeting in five sets (25-12, 25-10, 17-25, 16-25, 15-8).

The Knights are 34-13 all-time in the conference tournament. This will be the 21st appearance in the semifinals of the conference tournament for the Knights in the 25-year history of the tournament.

The Knights are led in kills by Emerson Kracht with 369 and Allison Feigenbaum with 268. Kaylee Koudelka recorded a career-high 12 kills in the first round match against Central.

Sophie Sedgwick leads the Knights with 620 assists. 

Alexa Melcher has a team-high 37 aces at the service-line.

Peyton Robinson has a team-best 474 digs and Feigenbaum has a team-best 65 blocks.

The top-seeded Kohawks are the 2024 American Rivers Conference (A-R-C) Champions with a 7-1 conference record. The Kohawks carry seven consecutive wins heading into conference tournament play.

Gracie Urbatsch leads the team with 338 kills and 82 blocks. Maddy Maahs leads the team with 1,180 assists, which is second-best in the country. Kelsey Hansel leads the team with 321 digs, followed by Bella Rio with 312.
