Volleyball set for A-R-C Championship match at Dubuque

WAVERLY, Iowa- The Wartburg volleyball team (18-11 overall) will travel to Dubuque (22-9 overall) Saturday at 7 p.m. in the American Rivers Conference (A-R-C) Tournament Championship. The winner will receive an automatic bid into the NCAA Tournament.

The Series
Wartburg leads the all-time series 45-32 and have won the last four out of five matches against the Spartans.The Knights won the regular-season meeting in five sets (20-25, 17-25, 25-22, 25-17, 15-8).

The Knights are 35-13 all-time in the conference tournament. This will be the first appearance in the title game for the Knights since 2021. In the 25-year history of the A-R-C Tournament, the Knights have made the championship match 14 times. 

The Knights are led in kills by Emerson Kracht with 381, Allison Feigenbaum with 276, and Kaylee Koudelka with 263. Koudelka has given the Knights a major boost, as shown by a career-high 17 kills in the A-R-C semifinals against Coe.

Sophie Sedgwick has a team-best 637 assists, followed by Kracht with 465.

Alexa Melcher and Peyton Robinson both lead the Knights with 37 aces at the service-line.

Allison Feigenbaum has a team-high 71 blocks. Robinson has a team-high 498 digs.
