BELTON, Texas – No. 2/2 women's basketball (8-2, 3-0 A-R-C) suffered its second loss of the season in a competitive neutral-site matchup against East Texas Baptist University (9-2) 64-47.

- The Knights' first basket of the game came after Sara Faber and Britney Young forced a turnover that led to a Faber basket in transition

- Faber scored two more points at the free throw line and then Murphy converted a three-point play to tie the game at 37-37
- The Tigers made a three pointer to retake the lead and they led 40-38 after three quarters following a Lauren Woeste free throw

- East Texas Baptist scored the first four points of the fourth before Murphy made another three pointer for the Knights
- The Tigers led 46-41 with 6:55 remaining in the game
- The Tigers went on a 6-0 run to take an 11-point lead before Faber stopped the run with a layup
- Young scored for the Knights to cut the lead back to 11 with just under two minutes to play, but the Tigers pulled away for a 64-47 win
