WAVERLY, Iowa-- The Wartburg softball team (9-8 overall) has two doubleheaders this week. The Knights will host UW-La Crosse Thursday at 2 p.m and then host Saint Benedict Friday at 1 p.m.

The Series
Wartburg owns the series lead at 9-6 against the Eagles, but have dropped the last five-straight. The Orange and Black also lead the series 4-1 against the Bennies, but have not faced each other since 2022.

The Knights enter the week 9-8 overall after going 3-1 last weekend at the WashU Tournament.
Lili Alvarado leads the team with a .381 batting average,
Sydney Fellows is second with a .357 average and is tied for the team lead in home runs with two.
Kaylie Springer (.345) and
Reagan Hassel (.326) round out those batting above .300.
Ella Link has a team-high 13 RBI, followed by Fellows with 11 and
Jenna Wiebenga with 10.
Avery Mull leads the Knights with a 3.27 ERA over seven games started.
Ashley Nelson has a team-high 27 strikeouts over 32.2 innings pitched.
Wartburg is 72-83 on stolen bases through 17 games. Springer and Fellows lead the team with 17 and 12, respectively.

Cristin Casey leads the Eagles with a .440 batting average. Kyra Lard joins her above .400 with a .426 batting average and leads the team with two home runs and 30 RBI. Brooke Howard has a team high 25 hits and three triples.
Carmen Follette leads the Eagles pitchers with a 1.83 ERA. Remington Stark leads all pitchers with 29 strikeouts and three wins. UW-La Crosse is 47/50 on stolen bases this season with Casey and Howard each having 11+.
College of Saint Benedict
Saint Benedict enters the weekend 2-8 overall.
Bryn Ruhberg leads the team with a .409 batting average. Mady Kubik is second at .364, Cat Smetana is third at .323 and leads the team with 10 hits and one home run. Bryn Carlstrom rounds out those batting above .300 at .310.
Olivia Wallace leads the starting pitchers with a 5.71 ERA and 18 strikeouts over 30.2 innings pitched.
CSB is 11-11 on stolen bases this season, Olivia Van Hout leads the team with five.
