WAVERLY, Iowa – Baseball picked up another American Rivers Conference victory with a 3-1 win in a pitchers dual over Nebraska Wesleyan University on Friday, Apr. 5. The win moves the Knights to 13-7 overall and 4-4 in A-R-C play.

- Caleb Andrews recorded the Knights' first hit of the game in the bottom of the third

- Zach Walton hit a sacrifice fly to bring home Keaton Gray and then a Sam Nicolino single scored Jurgensen to make it 3-1 Knights

- Will Armstrong came in the ninth to shut the door on NWU and close out a 3-1 win at home

Casey Klunder following tonight's win. "One of our mantras is 'Win Anyway' and tonight was a great win anyway day against a tough A-R-C opponent."
"Cael was in command from start to finish, he was really really special tonight" said Klunder on Bohemer's career day on the mound.
Klunder continued his postgame thoughts talking about timely batting, "We didn't have many (hits) tonight, but we were able to chunk a few together there in the eighth. Sometimes you just have to find a way to get it done and we did that tonight."
