OSHKOSH, Wis.-- The Wartburg softball team fell 4-1 to Illinois Wesleyan in the first game of the NCAA Regional Thursday.

Second inning

• Tarah Wehde got the first hit for the Knights with her single to left

Third

• The Titans got on the board on an error and added another on an RBI double down the rightfield line to take the 2-0 lead

Fourth

• In its next trip to the plate, Illinois Wesleyan threatened again with runners on second and third with two outs. The next batter hit one in the air and the Knights' second baseman, Lili Alvarado made a grab in shallow centerfield to end the inning

Fifth

• The Orange and Black got on the board as Reegan Deputy scored on Kaylie Springer's groundout

Seventh

• The Titans added two more to make it 4-1
• For Wartburg, the first batter fouled out, pinch hitter Addy Wells singled to right and the next two batters fouled out to seal the win for IWU
