WAVERLY, Iowa—The No. 13/16 Wartburg football team (3-1 overall, 2-0 American Rivers Conference) defeated Nebraska Wesleyan (1-2, 0-1) in shutout fashion, 34-0, Saturday in its home opener.
The Knights also won their school-record 20
th-straight conference game in the victory. The old mark of 19 was set during the 1988-2000 seasons.
