CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa -- Sophomore middle hitter Anna Sash and junior outside hitter Whitney Klyn earned postseason recognition from the American Rivers Conference, as announced Tuesday.

Sash, a native of Ankeny, Iowa, was named All-Conference after leading the A-R-C in total blocks at 1.21 per set. Her 52 solo blocks ranked third-most in a single season in program history. She paced the Knights with 259 kills and 122.0 total blocks, earning A-R-C Player of the Week honors twice during the year. One of six Knights to appear in every set—and one of just three to start all 27 matches—Sash delivered a career-high 17 kills on Sept. 6 against St. Catherine and a career-best 12 blocks on Sept. 30 versus Loras.

Her season totals included 259 kills, 19 assists, 32 aces, and 69 digs. Across 213 career sets, she has compiled 413 kills, 183.0 blocks, 96 digs, and 23 assists.

Klyn, a junior from Blakesburg, Iowa, earned Honorable Mention All-Conference after posting a career-high 218 kills (2.34 per set) this season. She also set career bests in assists (20) and service aces (34). Klyn notched a season-high 14 kills on Sept. 6 against Hamline and a career-high 19 digs on Oct. 22 at Transylvania. She finished with 11 double-digit kill efforts and nine double-doubles.

For the season, she recorded 218 kills, 20 assists, 34 aces, 271 digs, 29.0 blocks, appearing in 93 sets and starting all but one match. Through 295 career sets, Klyn has amassed 493 kills, 471 digs, 46 service aces, and 45 blocks.
