COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – Women's basketball (4-6, 2-1 A-R-C) went on the road today and battled Colorado College (6-4, 1-0), who held off the Knights in the final minutes for a 50-49 win.

- First Quarter
- The Knights got the game underway with a three pointer when Emma Townsley found Katie Boulanger open for three on Wartburg's second possession of the game
- Following two-straight scores from Colorado, Corrie Harrison made a layup to put the Knights in front 5-4 after five and a half minutes played in the quarter
- The Tigers retook the lead, but Wartburg answered with a 7-2 run to close the quarter leading 12-8
- Grace Hennessy, Boulanger and Harrison all scored for the Knights during the run
- Second Quarter
- The Knights jumped out to a 7-0 run to start the second quarter after layups from Boulanger and Katelyn Aden as well as a three pointer from Henessy
- Colorado cut the Wartburg lead to 19-12 with just under five minutes left in the half, but Boulanger answered with her third three pointer of the game to give Wartburg a 10 point lead
- Hennessy closed out Wartburg's first half scoring with a three pointer assisted by Reagan Pagniano to make the halftime score 25-18
- Second Half
- Third Quarter
- Boulanger connected on another three pointer to begin the third quarter, but the Tigers made two of their own to cut the Wartburg lead to 28-24 after three minutes of play
- The Knights rebuilt their lead outscoring Colorado 9-2 over the next three minutes following scores from Boulanger, Hennessy and Aden
- Aden closed the run with five-straight points
- Harrison scored the final two points of the third quarter with a layup that made the score 39-31 with one quarter to go
- Fourth Quarter
- The Tigers stormed back into the game after outscoring the Knights 8-2 to make the score 41-39 with 7:47 left to play
- Back-to-back three pointers from Colorado minutes later gave the Tigers their first lead of the half 45-43
- Trailing 47-43, Harrison scored the next four Wartburg points to tie the game up at 47 with 3:05 left in regulation
- Laynee Hogan made a jumper to give the Knights a 49-47 lead with two minutes to go, but Colorado was able to respond with a three pointer that gave the Tigers a 50-49 lead with 1:45 left in the game
- Both defenses stood tall in the final minutes of the game as neither team scored in the final 1:45 to give the Tigers a 50-49 win at home
