ROCKFORD, Ill. – Men's bowling closed a historic 2024-25 season this past weekend at the Collegiate Club National Championships, where the Knights finished 10
th in its first appearance in program history.
Wartburg went 4-1 in pool play on Saturday to earn a bye headed into bracket play. Following the bye, the Knights fell in their first matchup and closed the tournament in 10th overall after finishing in the consolation bracket.
Jace Goedel was one of 36 All-American finalists on the men's side. These are the top bowlers across all club teams in the nation based off several different statistics. Coaches then voted for first and second team All-Americans based off the individual's statistics.
Coach's Comments
"The first match was unfortunately lost due to poor spare shooting," said Head Coach
Alexis Neuer Runk. "The Men showed up to work hard Sunday morning but unfortunately lost to a difficult left lane ending their club nationals run. This was still a dream season as a program we got our first four team wins in program history with six All-Tournament team appearances.
