Coach's Comments
"I want to start by thanking our fans, students and alumni for making this a great atmosphere for baseball both Friday and Saturday," said head coach Casey Klunder following today's doubleheader. "We were so excited to be able to have a game dedicated to our alumni this season as well as a chance to celebrate the anniversaries of our College World Series teams."

"The story of the series was the starting pitchers," said Klunder. "Joey set the tone for us on Friday and both Emerson and Nick kept that going today with outstanding performances on the mound for us."

"Heading into today I knew we would have to find different ways to win with the wind blowing in," continued Klunder. "Yesterday a couple of home runs were the key to us winning and today in game three it was our bunting in the eighth inning that made the winning impact."

"Each conference win is so important," said Klunder. "This is now our third A-R-C series win of the season and with the way the conference is bunched up every single conference matchup could have a big impact down the road." The Knights are now 7-4 in A-R-C play, which is currently third overall in the conference.
