WAVERLY, Iowa – Women's basketball (14-6, 10-1 A-R-C) moved its winning streak to 10 games with a 60-43 American Rivers Conference (A-R-C) win at home over Loras College (7-13, 3-8 A-R-C) on Saturday, Jan. 31.
The Knights have been unbeaten since Saturday, Dec. 20 and have held opponents to an average of 41.4 points per game over that span.

- Emma Townsley got the scoring started in today's contest with a driving layup on the first possession before Lauren Donlea connected from three-point range to give Wartburg an early 5-3 lead
- The Knights continued to work the ball into the paint where Corrie Harrison, Katie Boulanger and Lauren Golinghorst all scored to push the lead to 11-3 with just over six minutes remaining in the quarter
- Boulanger and Donlea each made a three pointer in the final minutes of the first, but the Duhawks cut the lead to 17-11 headed to the second quarter

- The Knights jumped out to an 8-2 start of the second quarter after a score from Boulanger and then back-to-back three pointers from Golinghorst to push the lead to 25-13 after three minutes of second quarter play
- Loras cut the lead to 27-17 at the five minute mark before Wartburg responded with three pointers from Grace Hennessy and Boulanger along with a score in the paint from Harrison to give Wartburg a 35-19 lead at halftime

- Henessy and Boulanger each scored for the Knights in the opening minutes, but the Duhawks cut the lead to 39-28 after three minutes of play
- The Knights answered with two-point scores from Boulanger, Hennessy and Katelyn Aden to push the Wartburg lead back to 45-29 with 4:44 left in the third
- Loras scored the final four points of the third quarter to make the score 45-33 headed to the final quarter
- Fourth Quarter
- The Knights began the fourth on a 8-2 run following a driving layup from Laynee Hogan and three pointers from Boulanger and Hennessy
- Golinghorst found Donlea open for her third three pointer of the game to make the score 58-37 with just 5:30 left to play
- Ally Poegel rounded out the scoring for the Knights with a driving basket in the final minutes to cap off a 60-43 win over Loras
