DUBUQUE, Iowa – Women's basketball (8-6, 4-1 A-R-C) moved its winning streak to four games after defeating the University of Dubuque (4-9, 2-2 A-R-C) 61-49 on the road Wednesday, Jan. 7.

- Grace Hennessy, Katie Boulanger and Corrie Harrison got the scoring started with two points each in the first two minutes to go ahead 6-4
- Wartburg went ahead 11-6 with 3:24 following a made layup from Hennessy and a three pointer from Boulanger
- Emma Townsley and Katelyn Aden closed the first quarter with two points apiece to give Wartburg a 15-8 lead after the opening quarter

- Dubuque cut the lead to two points in the first minute of the fourth quarter, but the Knights answered with five-straight points from Boulanger to take a 46-39 lead
- Wartburg took a 51-41 lead with just over five minutes left to play following a free throw from Aden and a layup from Boulanger
- Boulanger and Townsley closed the game at the free throw line to give the Knights a 61-49 lead
