WAVERLY, Iowa — The Knights lost to Simpson 3-0 on Saturday, Oct. 10 at Salzwedel Field. The Orange and Black were limited to three shots, including two on goal, while Simpson scored all three goals in the second half.
Wartburg is now 5-5-2 overall and 0-2 in American Rivers Conference (A-R-C) play, while Simpson moves to 7-3-2 overall and 2-0 in conference play.

First Half

Claire Lienhard put the Knights' first shot on frame at 1:38, with Simpson goalkeeper Maddie Holland making the save.
- Simpson generated the next stretch of attack, taking two shots and earning three corner kicks between 5:14 and 26:23.
- The Knights earned a corner at 36:25 and Lienhard added another shot at 42:19, but the half ended without a goal.
