NORTHFIELD, Minnesota- The Wartburg women's tennis team began the spring season with a 1-6 loss against St. Olaf, followed by a 5-2 victory over Northwestern.

St. Olaf

• Kendall Olson and Lily Schreckengast earned a victory in doubles competition
• Brook Bloom was victorious in singles competition
• St. Olaf leads the all-time series 3-0

Northwestern

• The Knights earned a sweep in doubles competition
• Morgan Kathman/Reese Williams, Tori Johnson/Brook Bloom, and Kendall Olson/Lily Schreckengast earned victories in doubles competition
• Brooke Bloom, Lily Schreckengast, Tori Johnson, and Riley McClellan were victorious in singles competition
• Northwestern leads the all-time series 3-2
• The Knights have won the last two head-to-head meetings
