CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa – Sixth seeded men's basketball was unable to advance in the American Rivers Conference (A-R-C) tournament as the Knights fell in the first round to Coe College 66-50 on the road Tuesday, Feb. 24.
The Knights close the 2025-26 season with an overall record of 14-12, while Coe moves to 19-7 overall and advances to the semifinals.

- First Half
- Trailing 3-0 after almost three minutes, Cael Schramm knocked down two free throws for the first Wartburg points of the game
- A score in the paint from Drake Wemark and five-straight points from Austin Bienemann put Wartburg in front 9-7 after seven minutes of play
- Coe outscored Wartburg 8-2 over the next three minutes to retake the lead 15-11

- Three early Kohawk points stretched the Coe lead to 33-21, but Mason Matson scored a layup and knocked down a triple to make the score 33-26 after two minutes of play
- Bienemann had a driving layup for the Knights, but Coe outscored Wartburg 6-2 over the next two minutes to take a 39-28 lead with just under 15 minutes left to play
- Wemark, Schramm and Yungtum all scored for the Knights over the next five minutes of play, but the Kohawks continued to lead 47-35 with 9:37 to go
- Coe continued to build a 61-43 lead despite scores from Ladwig, Matson and Bienemann
- Outscored the Knights 14-8 over four minutes of play
- The Knights closed the game with scores from Wemark, Brody Bauer, Gabe Trujillo and Yungtum, but the Knights fell 66-50
