MINNEAPOLIS, Minnesota- The Wartburg women's tennis team returned back to the court today for matches against Northwestern and Wisconsin-Superior. The Knights won 6-1 over Northwestern and were defeated 2-5 by Wisconsin-Superior. 

Northwestern

• The Knights earned a sweep in doubles competition
• Morgan Kathman/Tori Johnson won in #1 doubles, Brooke Bloom/Abi Peyman won in #2 doubles, and Lily Schreckengast/Kendall Olson won in #3 doubles
• Morgan Kathman, Lily Schreckengast, Tori Johnson, Kendall Olson, and Abi Peyman were victorious in singles competition
• The Knights lead the all-time series 8-4
• The Knights have won the last four head-to-head meetings

Wisconsin-Superior

• Lily Schreckengast/Kendall Olson won in #3 doubles
• Morgan Kathman and Abi Peyman were victorious in singles competition
• This was the first ever head-to-head meetings between both programs
