WAVERLY, Iowa- The Knights tee-off the spring season on Mar 9 (Mon) - Mar 10 (Tue) at the Verhille Invitational in Camdenton, Missouri. 

Last Season
Wartburg tied for sixth in the American Rivers Conference Championships in West Des Moines, Iowa. Josh Nichols earned All-Conference honors for his ninth place finish. For a second-straight season, Josh Nichols was named a Cobalt Golf All-America Scholar.Sam Jermier was named to the Men's At-Large College Sports Communicators Academic All-District team for the second-straight season.

Season Outlook 
This year's team will have a lot of turnover. Sam Jermier is the lone senior in the program. This year's roster features five newcomers who will be expected to make an impact. 

"We're really excited about the upcoming spring. Our guys have been doing a great job during the off-season putting the time in getting ready for the spring." said head coach Jason Steege in his opening statement at media day.



The Knights will look to improve throughout the season to be ready for the American Rivers Conference Championships on Apr 26 (Sun) - Apr 28 (Tue).

"Our goals have always been to continually get better every single day and that's something we really focused on here during the off-season. Once we get into tournament play in the spring, obviously scores come with that, and it's an opportunity to for us to evaluate everybody in the program. As we get towards the end of the year at the conference tournament, it's really going to be an opportunity for us to see where we stack up within our conference. We feel like we can do some good things this spring and our guys are excited about that," said Steege.
