INDIANOLA, Iowa --- Baseball (14-11, 5-8) closed out its road series against Simpson College (17-10, 8-4) in dominant fashion with a 13-5 win on Saturday, Apr. 11 highlighted by a season-high 20 hits as a team.

- First Inning
- Griffin Troha led off the game with a single and a stolen base before Andrew Robinson walked to put runners on first and second
- Andrew Gallegos drove in the first run of the game with an RBI double to right center field before Bode Nagelmaker used a sacrifice fly to score Robinson and make it 2-0 after half an inning of play

- Gallegos got the scoring started with a solo shot to center field before Jackson doubled and then was brought home by a two-run home run from Charlie Krueger
- Keegan Schmitt kept the bats rolling with a triple before an RBI single from Bender brought him home
- Nick Nin finished his start on the mound with six innings pitched and two earned runs allowed
- Eighth Inning
- Krueger smacked his second two-run home run of the game to push the lead to 10 runs
- Simpson answered in the bottom of the inning to make the score 13-4 and stay alive headed to the ninth

- Kam Volz closed the final inning of play on the mound for the Knights to secure a 13-5 win over the Storm
