CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa --- The American Rivers Conference (A-R-C) announced its weekly awards on Monday, Apr. 13 with
Carley Bredar representing Wartburg softball for a second-straight week as the position player of the week.

Bredar played a crucial role in helping to lead Wartburg's high-powered offense during its 4-0 week in A-R-C play. The Eldridge, Iowa native Tallied two hits in each of Wartburg's four conference contests this week. Bredar recorded three RBI and three stolen bases with a batting average of .615 over the four-game stretch. The junior outfielder extended her current hitting streak to eight games and had a perfect fielding percentage (six putouts on six attempts) over the week.

The Knights will be in action next on Tuesday, Apr. 21 for an A-R-C doubleheader against No. 21 Central College in Pella, Iowa.
