CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa --- The American Rivers Conference (A-R-C) announced its weekly awards on Monday, Apr. 6 with
Katelyn Klever and
Carley Bredar both representing Wartburg softball.

Both Klever and Bredar helped lead the Knights to a 3-1 week to begin conference play, including a sweep over No. 12 Simpson. Klever earned both Female Athlete of the Week and Softball Pitcher of the Week honors, while Bredar earned Softball Position Player of the Week to complete the sweep of the softball honors.

Klever
- Recorded her first career complete game in the circle in a 11-3 win over Nebraska Wesleyan
- Also went 2/4 at the plate with two doubles and four RBI
- Picked up two wins in three appearances (one start) this past week to move to 6-3 in pitching decisions
Bredar
- Went 7/15 at the plate this week and recorded at least one RBI in each game
- Now has 10 multi-hit games this season
- Finished with three RBI in each doubleheader this past week
- In the field, Bredar recorded five putouts in CF and had one assisted putout from her outfield position

The Knights will be in action next on Tuesday, Apr. 6 for an A-R-C doubleheader against Loras College in Dubuque, Iowa.
